Each week for the next four weeks one of EBA’s ministry areas will be highlighted. This week Baptist Campus Ministry (Mark Weippert, Collegiate / Student Director)

THE BAPTIST CAMPUS MINISTRY is a ministry to American and International students in our local colleges and universities. Our main purpose is to share Christ with those who don’t know Him, Disciple Christian Students, Equip students to become leaders in their church and community, and provide an outlet for worship, Bible study, and fellowship.

Students are encouraged to serve through local ministry as well as around the world through summer and semester missions. Student ministries provides training and encouragement to our local youth ministers as well as two major events each year, See you at the Pole and Disciple Now. Through these two annual events, students are challenged to share Christ with fellow students and grow in their own personal relationship with Christ. Each summer, 12 students are selected to serve as summer missionaries through our local Summer Missions program. Last year, these 12 students and our other volunteers ministered to 5902 children, youth, and adults with 132 of them coming to know Christ as their personal savior. Please continue to pray for this growing ministry.
