The Haiti Relief efforts are moving forward. In the words of one relief worker, “the magnitude of the earthquake made Katrina look like a low grade tornado”. Thanks to EBA churches who have already received Special Offerings or plan to do so.

Our State Convention Web Site www.alsbom.org offers instruction as to where to send funds. They can be mailed to the Alabama Baptist Convention, P.O. Box 11870, Montgomery, AL. 36111 (please note HAITI RELIEF on the check). EBA will be deploying specially trained Haiti Disaster Relief Chaplains to accompany teams from Alabama. If you would like to assist locally please direct funds to Etowah Baptist Assn. marked Haiti Relief Chaplain Support.

You may be aware of a “Buckets of Hope” effort. Simply go to the state site listed above and click on Haiti Relief on the opening page. Complete instructions are available. EBA will be a collection site on Thurs.& Fri., March 4 and 5. Thank you for caring.
