Sensing mixed emotions as I look around at empty book shelves, a cleaned-out desk, closet and file cabinet. How do I sum-up 12 years in this limited space? Not going to even try. So many feelings are flooding-in as I’m in my last week to occupy this chair. Oh, no doubt The Lord continues to affirm His timing with respect to retirement, but the ‘human-side’ of ‘saying-farewell’ is rather hard to do. Yes, Carol and I will continue to live here in Etowah County of which we have grown to love and be proud to call home. EBA has endured many changes over the past years, and continues to be a very viable and much needed ministry not only in this county but also in maintaining a great mission presence in other areas outside our state, and nation. As with any ministry, relationships are at the heart of everything. I have been immeasurably blessed by so many people over the past 12 years. Thanks for great memories and I look forward to interacting with many of you in a different way. Be blessed and continue to be one.
