Leaders “Homework Assignments” Checklist
- Plan an education related mission project that the kids of your church can carry out in your community/school. Examples: Clean classrooms at your local school, Collect books for a literacy ministry, or Send encouraging notes to teachers or GED students
- Make a poster that represents your church. Share what your children have and are learning as you prepared for your CMD project. (At the rally time you will be given a moment to share verbally or written and all will get to see the poster.)
- Practice and let your kid’s share their talents. (During opening and closing rally time, your group may present a skit, song, recite a Bible verse, GA, RA or CIA Pledge. Time will be limited to 3-5 minutes.) *SIGN UP A.S.A.P. to reserve a spot – information above
- Collect & Bring School Supplies for the Etowah Baptist Missions Center. Items Needed:
- Folders (w/pockets/brads all colors/plastic or vinyl)
- Three Ring Binders
- Baby Wipes
- Crayons (24 Count or Jumbo)
- Book bag/Backpack (clear or mesh only)
- Dictionary
- Scissors: Fiskars
- Rulers
- Glue (bottles) or Glue Sticks
- Hand Sanitizer
- Kleenex
- Ziploc Bags (gal/quart size)
- School box or bag & or pencil bag or box
- Different types of pens/pencils (Highlighters, Ink Pens (black & red), Markers (washable), Colored pencils, Jumbo Size pencils for kindergarten and #2 pencils)
- Different types of paper (Construction (assorted/solid colors), Copier, Graph, Manila Drawing, Wide-Ruled Notebook paper, D’Nealian Handwriting Paper)
