Poll Conducted through God's Plan for Sharing

Recently I noticed results from a poll conducted through the God’s Plan for Sharing initiative which stated the top five ways Americans are willing to receive information about a local church.

  • (5) Newspaper/advertising 46%
  • (4) Outdoor sign/Billboard 46%
  • (3) Informative ad in newspaper 48%
  • (2) Personal conversation w/friend/neighbor 56% and the most effective way to bring them in . . .
  • (1) Personal conversation w/family member 63%.

      Also revealed in the survey were the top five times that people consider matters of faith.

      • (5) New baby 28%
      • (4) Natural disaster 34%
      • (3) Major national crisis (9/11) 38%
      • (2) Easter season 38% and most likely
      • (1) Christmas Holiday Season 47%.
